Look who’s back!!! It’s Taylor Swift and the country pop star has been working in the studio with Max Martin and Johan Shellback, responsible for hits like “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together“ or “I Knew You Were Trouble“. This new song and sound is far from the Country music roots Swift started with and now sounding like Pharell influenced Pop.
To be honest, it’s like Tay-Tay finally admitted to herself she’s Pop music, not Country music, which we all have known for quite some time.
In November 2013, Swift told Billboard:
There are probably seven or eight songs that I know I want on the record. It’s already evolved into a new sound, and that’s all I wanted
During Taylor Swift’s Yahoo! Live Stream in New York City, she confirmed the new single “Shake It Off“, which she also premiered the official music video during the live stream and it was posted on VEVO following the stream.
The single is the first single off her first real POP album called ‘T.S. 1989‘, scheduled to be released on October 27th. Pre-order the album on iTunes here: Smarturl.it/TS1989
