Lady Gaga – ‘Do What U Want’ New Track Premiere!

Today at 12:01 AM EST, Lady Gaga premiered “Do What U Want,” the 1st of 3 promo songs leading up to the release of her upcoming third studio album ARTPOP. The track has an awesome feature from R. Kelly and some stellar vocals from Lady Gaga herself. Once you listen you take a listen you will see that it has seductive 80s synth with sexual breakdowns and RnB soul. It gives me the feel and vibe of a Caribbean groove like Drake’s latest hit single “Hold On, We’re Going Home“. Listen below, buy it, jam out to it, stop fighting it. seriously though.

Also I just love the single cover. Dat Ass. Damn Gaga.

What we are all to expect the next 2 weeks is 2nd official single “Venus” and then the third promotional track for the lead up “Dope” drop to iTunes on October 27 and November 4 respectively.

To address all the haters out there that love to tear a song apart before having any real experience with it… The synth used in the track produced by DJ White Shadow does sound like some other tracks. But it’s a synth and if you don’t make music, you shouldn’t try to compare production values and if they are the same, merely based on a synth or generic chord progression.

That being said, many (haters) are saying the track below was sampled. Listen after you enjoy Gaga’s track first a few times. Don’t spoil the experience. since the synth can be heard in many tracks from the same style and time period.

But if you look at several other songs in the genre… you get the same synth.

Do What U Want Lyrics

I feel good, I walk alone

But then I trip by myself and I fall

I, I stand up, and then I’m okay

But then you break that sh*t

That makes me want to scream

So do what you want

What you want with my body

Do what you want

Don’t stop, let’s party

Do what you want

What you want with my body

Do what you want

What you want with my body

Write what you want

Say what you want bout me

If you’re wondering

Know that I’m not sorry

You can’t have my heart

And you won’t use my mind but

Do what you want (with my body)

Do what you want with my body

You can’t stop my voice cause

You dont own my life but

Do what you want (with my body)

Do what you want (with my body)

Early morning, longer nights

Time for private flights

Crazy schedule, fast life

I wouldn’t trade it in

‘Cause it’s our life (Now let’s slow it down…)

I could be the drink in your cup

I could be the green in your blunt

Your “pusha” man, ya I got what you want

You want to escape all of the crazy sh*t

You’re the mailman, I’m the president

I’d love to hear you sing, girl

Do what I want

Do what I want with your body

Do what I want

Do what I want with your body

Back of the club, taking shots, getting naughty

No invitations, it’s a private party

Do what I want

Do what I want with your body

Do what I want

Do what I want with your body

Ya we taking these haters and we roughin’ ’em up

And we laying in the cut like we don’t give a f*ck

You can’t have my heart

And you won’t use my mind but

Do what you want (with my body)

Do what you want with my body

You can’t stop my voice cause

You dont own my life but

Do what you want (with my body)

Do what you want (with my body)

Sometimes I’m scared I suppose

If you ever let me go

I would fall apart

If you break my heart

So just take my body

And don’t stop the party

You can’t have my heart

And you won’t use my mind but

Do what you want (with my body)

Do what you want with my body

You can’t stop my voice cause

You dont own my life but

Do what you want (with my body)

Do what you want (with my body)

Do what you want with me

What you want with my body

Do what you want with me

What you want with my body

Do what you want with me

What you want with my body

Do what you want with me

What you want with my body
