The video premiere for Emeli Sande’s song “Next To Me” has had a slow but steady number of new views. This being the second time that Emeli has caught my eye, (YouTube Video of Performance), I was expecting a bit more from her. Yes her voice has a unique richness that soothes the soul, and a look that we don’t see everyday. That doesn’t excuse producing something that doesn’t excite the viewer, we want to be brought in and never let go… this video sadly doesn’t quite do that. The song is good… the video is less than par.
