Check out the new single Charli XCX dropped today, “What I Like,” off her upcoming LP True Romance.
The LP drops April 16 and we are excited. Charli’s sound is that of a raver mixed with grunge lover romance lyrics. Don’t know if her look is gonna last for much longer, the scene seems to be moving away from the trashy look and feel. But hey things change all the time, maybe the kids will keep feeling the whole dirt & un-showered thing.
The writers behind this album have some serious heat in their past, which makes for some good tunes.
Charli XCX wrote and/or co-wrote all of the album’s 13 songs with Ariel Rechtshaid (Major Lazer; Sky Ferreira; Justin Bieber), Blood Diamonds, and Patrik Berger (Icona Pop, Robyn) who also co-wrote and/or the produced tracks.
