Look below for the new music video from the New York based electro-pop duo, ASTR. The video is for their latest single “Blue Hawaii”, that is off their debut EP ‘Varsity‘. The track and video are serving vibes of Miami Vice and everything 80s. The video is definitely giving us what we want for the track.
ASTR had this to say to Idolator on the video:
“Blue Hawaii” centers around the idea of escaping reality to a tropical paradise and cashing out.
Ever since we wrote the song we had dreamed of what the video would look like. We had a blast making it and playing ourselves and a sleuth of random characters intermixed w some quirky tacky after effects.
The end result is a cheeky expression of life with no regrets and no responsibilities.
