We recently got turned onto this year group The 1975. The band is a British alternative rock group from Manchester and we love every bit of it. Matthew Healy (vocals/guitar), Adam Hann (guitar), George Daniel (drums), and Ross MacDonald (bass) make up the devilishly handsome members of The 1975. The boys have had some reasonable success in the UK and are just starting to break into the states by way of the US leg of their current tour.
We dig the sound and vibe that we get from the group. They are worth a listen and don’t blame us if they are as addictive for you as they are for us.
Watch the music video for their single “Chocolate” below, its sensual, synth, fun and needed, all at the same time. We felt like the boys were really working the lost puppy kinda look but that seemed to work, makes them feel different. Also, the video stays true to the characteristics of a rock band by giving us a little edge, because remember they’re not just another British boy band.
